Join in the fun...

Spectators are not only welcome, they are heartily encouraged! We’re aiming for a festival feel all the way around the course and spectators will play a huge part.

All of the hotels, pubs and cafés along the route will be open to the public and make great spectator spots. Pop in for a drink or a bite to eat and raise a glass to the runners as they pass by! Check out our Trail page for a map of the course. Here are just a few highlights:

Buckland Abbey

Cheer on the runners at historic Buckland Abbey, Sir Francis Drake’s old haunt, a 700 year old Cistercian Abbey near Yelverton. There are tranquil gardens and woodland walks to explore, before heading off to the finish at the nearby Moorland Garden Hotel.

The Garden House

Catch the runners as they pass through one of the most scenic spots on the entire trail. Spend a couple of hours exploring the 10 acre site. Round things off with a slice of their infamous Devon apple cake in the cafe.

The Moorland Garden Hotel

Head here to the finish of the trail where a West Country produce market, hog roast and cream teas will keep you well sustained as you wait to cheer the runners over the finish line. 12 noon - 4pm. Free parking and entry.

Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter feeds for special spectator offers and the latest updates on what’s happening where.
